Please join us for a conversation about the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s recent plan to discontinue the collection of certain workplace discrimination data from employers. Together, we will explore the potential implications of this change for transparency, accountability, civil rights enforcement, and workplace equity. Participants will consider a range of perspectives on the role of data in identifying and addressing discrimination, as well as how changes to reporting requirements may affect future efforts to promote equal employment opportunity.
Join us as we practice curiosity, challenge assumptions, and grow together in community.
This is a time for conversation – to share feelings, raise concerns, and talk together as a school community. To aid the conversation, space will be limited.
About Community Conversations. Community Conversations can be called by anyone in our community. They are designed to help us come together to talk about things that matter. They invite us to consider different perspectives and ideas - even when we disagree. We try to keep them small, since our hope is to explore restorative dialogue and build community, creating a space where we are all teachers and learners. We will draw heavily on practices from intergroup dialogue and restorative justice.
After registering, you will be added to a calendar invite with a Zoom link
