Join us as BEAM collaborates with Access & OpportunityDepartment of Afroamerican and African Studies (DAAS), Rackham Graduate School, and the School of Social Work's Flourish Office for a special Juneteenth celebration to connect, build community, and celebrate Freedom Day 2026!  The gathering will include a Welcome from the DAAS Chair Bénédicte Boisseron as well as freedom stories and poetry! The event will be held in the Lemuel Johnson Center and will feature a tour of the GalleryDAAS.

Current Exhibit: DAAS @ 55: A Journey Through Our History

Learn about DAAS history alongside a broader history of campus and nationwide activism through visual timelines, photographs, and artifacts.
