This Zine Fest is centered on social movements led by People of Color in the U.S. and globally. We also recognize that in other parts of the world, different terms on race/ethnic/class/any form of oppression may be used depending on local social and cultural contexts, especially outside the Western framework.
Thus, we aim to highlight personal experiences with these social movements—stories of displacement, resistance, fighting, and flourishing. It could be a poem of a solemn moment, a doodling of a joyful glance, a notes with fragments that make you feel complicated, subtle, inexplicable yet existent.
