We invite you to a Community Conversation around Self-Care.
In healthcare, mental health, and behavioral health fields, self-care has become a widely used buzzword. Yet when asked what it truly means and how it is practiced, the answers often vary greatly. Self-care is not one-size-fits-all, it looks different depending on a person’s needs, circumstances, and experiences. Come and talk about self-care means to you - and maybe leave with some new strategies.
This is a time for conversation – to share feelings, raise concerns, and talk together as a school community.
About the format. With these smaller Community Conversations, our hope is to explore restorative dialogue and build community, creating a space where we are all teachers and learners. We will draw heavily on practices from intergroup dialogue and restorative justice.
