We invite you to a Community Conversation around the "Boycott, Divestment, and Sanction movement in relation to the war on Gaza"

There has been a lot of talk on campuses about the Boycott, Divest, and Sanction (BDS) movement, which is a Palestinian-led movement for freedom, justice, and equality. Particularly, we invite you to a conversation to discuss the BDS movement around the war on Gaza. We hope to discuss their connections to equitable efforts and various perspectives, including how BDS movements are believed to be a mechanism for change or ineffective in restoring social justice.

This is a time for conversation and to share feelings and raise concerns, as well as talk together as a school community about critical issues happening around the world. We must acknowledge the direct impact global movements have on our day-to-day lives. We hope you can join us.

About the format. With these smaller Community Conversations, our hope is to explore restorative dialogue and build community, creating a space where we are all teachers and learners. We will draw heavily on practices from intergroup dialogue and restorative justice.
