COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
• LMSWs $75 per hour - paid monthly
What does this look like?
For a full-time RISE LMSW therapist:
Average gross monthly pay $7,500 - $9,000
Average gross annual pay $97k -117k
• All therapists are hired as part-time W2 employees and have a 6-month probationary period, which gives both RISE and the therapist time to evaluate best fit.
• When therapists reach a full-time caseload (25 billable sessions per week), RISE will bump the therapist from a part-time to full-time employee, and the following benefits will kick in:
Employees are offered:
Monthly clinical supervision group
Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
(Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO with low deductible, Delta Dental, and VSP Vision coverage)
RISE covers half the premium amounts for employee-only. For most, they will pay less than $400 monthly for full insurance benefits as an individual.
Partners and families can be enrolled in coverage that the employee pays in full.
[Part-time therapists seeing a minimum of 16 clients weekly are eligible to be enrolled in Medical, Dental & Vision insurance, but will pay for all premiums out-of-pocket. Part-time therapists are not eligible for any other full-time benefits.]
Health Spending Account (HSA) - is a tax-advantaged member-owned accounts that let you save pre-tax dollars for future qualified medical expenses. You can invest in mutual funds tax-free, and funds never expire.
PTO - One week paid time off and up to 2 additional weeks of unpaid time off if you desire.
RISE Michigan has an office in Ann Arbor. Therapists who work full-time will have an assigned office, and all of our offices have windows. Our office has its own dedicated bathrooms, a kitchen, a conference room, and a bunch of natural light throughout. It has been recently renovated and is a beautiful space.
RISE is growing, and we are always thinking of ways to best support our therapists.
It is important to us that we provide a warm, friendly environment that will cultivate a space for meaningful work to be done that isn't at the expense of our therapists. Ultimately, we want RISE to be a collaborative space of like-minded individuals who are as equally devoted to self-care as they are to their clients.
You simply can not sustainably hold space for clients if you are not resourced to do so.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Upholding anti-oppressive frameworks and utilizing effective psychotherapy treatments
Part-time (16 clients a week) to Full-time (25+ clients a week) hours require a minimum completion of 16 billable sessions per week for part-time and 25 billable sessions per week for full-time
Having a full-time caseload is required for benefits
Complete client documentation promptly (required to be completed within 7 days of session)
Maintain follow-up appointment scheduling
Notifying admin when openings become available on your schedule
Work collaboratively with clients to develop a treatment plan and goals
Deliver interventions, monitor progress, and document accordingly
Seek personal clinical supervision to support clinical skill set
Attend monthly clinical consultation group meetings
QUALIFICATIONS:
MICHIGAN: Must have an active and unrestricted Michigan License (must be verifiable through LARA - no in-progress licenses): Highly prefer LMSW (social justice orientation/educational background), may accept LMFT, DSW, PhD, PsyD, or LPC
COLORADO: Must have an active and unrestricted Colorado license (must be verifiable - no in-progress licenses): Highly prefer LCSW (social justice orientation/educational background), may accept LSW and SWC
COLORADO: Colorado-based licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply. This position may also be performed remotely by qualified clinicians residing in Colorado. ALL COLORADO APPLICANTS MUST BE PREPARED TO BE DUALLY LICENSED IN MICHIGAN & COLORADO
Therapist must have their Professional Liability Insurance
The ability to work independently and remotely.
IDEAL CANDIDATES:
• Experience and passion for serving marginalized identities and communities is a must
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Experience working independently and managing a psychotherapy client load
• Possesses foundational knowledge of clinical skills, treatment approaches, and treatment planning
• Works well with and enjoys working with others
• Adaptable and creative in psychotherapy treatment while also using data to support interventions
• High level of professionalism. We have high standards for our therapists.
• Proficient in providing online therapy services (telehealth)
• Strong proficiency with computers, computer-based programs, technology skills for record-keeping, scheduling, communication, etc.
Comfortable learning new technology/online platforms
SUPER IDEAL CANDIDATES:
• AASECT - Certified Sex Therapist with experience treating sexual health concerns
(If not certified, ideal candidate is currently pursuing or interested in pursuing the sexual health certificate program

• Interdisciplinary experience within medicine/mental health
• Competent with the following identities: BIPOC, ENM, KINK/BDSM, LGBTQIA+, Trans/GNC, Sexual Health Concerns, Neurodiversity
