About the Role:
Hopeful Minds Psychology Group is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled psychologist, counselor, or social worker to join our growing outpatient mental health practice in Brighton, Michigan. We also have opportunities all over the state of Michigan for those looking to practice in a primarily virtual setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who wants the independence of private practice while receiving the support of a group setting. Clinicians will have flexibility in building their caseload, choosing areas of clinical focus, and providing high-quality care to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

Hopeful Minds Psychology Group provides practice software, telehealth infrastructure, referral support, billing support, and a collaborative professional environment. Clinicians are compensated as independent contractors and receive 70% of collected revenue for services they personally provide.​

We are looking for clinicians who are warm, ethical, reliable, and committed to providing evidence-based and client-centered care.

​Duties:
- Provide individual, family, couples, or group therapy based on clinician training, experience, and client needs
- Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing clinical assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals and clinical best practices
- Provide evidence-based therapy, including approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed therapy, trauma-informed care, ERP, mindfulness-based interventions, or other appropriate modalities
- Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation
- Assess and respond appropriately to risk, including suicidal ideation, self-harm, abuse/neglect concerns, and other clinical emergencies
- Collaborate with referral sources, families, physicians, schools, or other professionals when clinically appropriate and with proper consent
- Participate in optional peer consultation, case discussion, and professional development opportunities
- Provide telehealth services when appropriate and in accordance with ethical, legal, and HIPAA standards
- Maintain active professional licensure, liability insurance, and compliance with all applicable ethical and legal requirements​

Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field
- Active Michigan license or eligibility to practice independently in Michigan
- Licensed Psychologist, LLP, LPC, LMSW, LMFT, or equivalent credential preferred
- 1 year experience providing psychotherapy in an outpatient, private practice, community mental health, school, medical, or related clinical setting. Internships will be considered
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional collaboration with the practice
- Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant documentation and telehealth practices
- Strong communication, reliability, and ethical decision-making skills
- Interest or experience in one or more specialty areas is preferred, such as anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, grief, relationship issues, children/adolescents, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, addiction, or life transitions. Others will be considered
