About the Role:
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients in their success at sites in the community in order to build skills necessary for obtaining and retaining competitive, integrated employment.
- Assessment and identification of client needs while providing evidence-based intervention as necessary.
- Communicating with employers regarding ADA and formal accommodation requests to ensure client success.
- Communicating with clients’ support systems regarding their progress.
- Collaborating with employers and community partners to promote employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
- Professional development to improve understanding of disabilities and their impact on long term success in employment.
- Seeking out a supervisor when a client is experiencing difficulty at a worksite to discuss interventions.
- Documentation of interactions with clients, including all pertinent information related to their progress and challenges.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Ideal Competencies:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- A minimum of two years professional level experience, preferred in the human services or special education field.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of strength-based, solution focused approach in supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Awareness of the impact of disability and ability to empathically support individuals by meeting them where they’re at in their vocational rehabilitation.

Schedule:
May vary based on client needs. Employee will provide my availability to supervisor upon hire. Any changes in availability need prior approval of at least 14 calendar day’s notice. Responsible for:
- Maintaining at least 20 hours of availability per week aligned with the scheduling blocks as outlined below.
- Maintaining availability for at least 4 weekend schedule blocks per month.
- Providing weekend schedule availability by the 15th of the month prior.
- Working all assigned shifts that are assigned upon the weekly schedule publication. After the weekly schedule is published, contingent staff may adjust their availability only for the week the schedule has been published. Management approval is required. - Completing documentation within 48 hours of the conclusion of the shift.
Scheduling Blocks:
Monday-Friday: 9 am - 1:30 pm; 1 pm - 5 pm; 4 pm - 9 pm
Saturday-Sunday: 9 am - 3 pm; 2 pm - 8 pm
