Description
Not every group practice is built the same. Some prioritize volume over culture. Some promise
support and deliver paperwork. Some leave you feeling like a contractor who happens to share
a waiting room with other contractors.
Arbor Psychology Group was built differently — because we believe where you practice shapes
how you practice.
We've grown intentionally and slowly, balancing early-career clinicians with seasoned
professionals, and only adding to our team when there's genuine capacity to support someone
well. We are not growing just to grow.
We're known in the Ann Arbor community for comprehensive, high-quality care for children,
adolescents, and families. We're equally proud of the way our therapists feel here —
emotionally safe, deeply respected, and trusted to practice in ways that work for them.
If you've been looking for a practice that takes your wellbeing as seriously as it takes clinical
excellence, keep reading.
What we offer:
- W-2 employment with a competitive fee-split, healthcare coverage, retirement matching,
malpractice insurance, and paid time off
- Monthly group consultation with a collegial team of licensed clinicians
- A multidisciplinary practice — the ability to consult and co-treat with our occupational
therapists and speech-language therapists, for children with complex needs
- Freedom to practice in ways that fit your unique preferences, style, and needs
- An emotionally safe culture where our team respects and learns from one another
- Quarterly staff bonding events that nurture relationships and team wellbeing
- Steady client referrals and marketing support
- Phenomenal administrative and billing support
- Access to office space and a play-room for in-person sessions
- Flexibility to provide telehealth sessions from home or the office
- A solid telehealth platform for video-conferencing, cloud-based documentation, and billing
What we're looking for:
A fully licensed therapist who specializes in children/adolescents and/or families — and who
thinks deeply and intentionally about the people they serve. Someone who resists
one-size-fits-all explanations and can conceptualize and treatment plan from a comprehensive
range of perspectives. Someone who is eager to get on the floor and play, make art, get a little
messy, and show up fully in the room with kids. And someone who is passionate about learning
from others and working collaboratively — across disciplines, across perspectives, and across
the complexity of what it means to be human.
We expect clinicians to schedule 22 clients/week, with 14 sessions scheduled in-person during
after-school hours.
