About the Interpersonal Violence Research Laboratory:
The Interpersonal Violence Research Laboratory uses evidence-based research to prevent interpersonal violence and support survivors.
About the Role:
The Interpersonal Violence Research Laboratory (IVRL) is hiring a licensed clinical professional to provide clinical safety oversight and consultation for several community-based programs serving Indigenous youth, families, and adults on the Pine Ridge Reservation and in Rapid City, South Dakota. These programs focus on empowerment, violence prevention, family support, and mental health promotion.
This is a part-time (approximately 6 hours per week), fully remote position with occasional travel to South Dakota (about 1–2 trips per year). The primary role involves conducting clinical safety screenings, risk assessments, and consultation with research and programming staff regarding participant wellbeing. For clinicians with interest or experience in CBT or DBT, there are also opportunities to contribute to program development integrating coping and regulation strategies into empowerment-based interventions.
