About the Role:
We are looking for a School Social Worker with experience working with children. Our ideal candidate has a passion for supporting families and children with learning differences by ensuring they receive the best care and tools for success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling services to children
- Collaborate with the clinical team to create a treatment plan or an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) for each child, including identifying specific counseling related goals
- Provide staff with essential information to better understand factors (cultural, societal, economic, familial, health, etc.) affecting a student’s performance and behavior
- Assist in developing positive behavioral intervention strategies
- Assess students with mental health concerns
- Develop staff in-service training programs
- Work with parents to facilitate their support in their children's school adjustment
- Assist teachers with behavior management
- Provide direct support to staff
- Will perform other duties as appropriate.
