Description:
This position reports to a faculty member in the Department of Oncology at Wayne State University who serves as the Associate Center Director of Community Outreach and Engagement for Karmanos Cancer Institute. The incumbent is responsible for project-specific coordination and management of cancer education and outreach programs to decrease cancer health disparities.

Job duties:
Development of outreach strategies to engage community and healthcare stakeholders.
Recruitment/implementation efforts and management of recruitment campaigns for assigned projects.
Implementation of structured educational presentations.
Collection of evaluation data, entry, coding, and report writing.
Development and execution of social media strategies.

Qualifications:
Must have public speaking experience.
Must have background in community health education.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities.
Must have experience working with non-academic organizations/agencies.
Must have experience working with diverse populations.
