Admissions, Recruitment, and Financial Aid Officer
Sierra has been with the School of Social Work since November 2024. She is passionate about supporting students through all parts of their academic journey, from exploring graduate programs to graduation. In her role as an Admissions, Recruitment, and Financial Aid Officer, she meets with prospective and current students to support their needs, helps to process financial aid, supports various events at the School, provides training and support for student organizations, and is a part of the Admissions Review Team.
She graduated from the MSW program in 2023, and her research interests centered on disability justice as well as LGBTQIA+ advocacy, resiliency and joy. She continues to advocate for disability justice and the LGBTQIA+ community through her professional and personal work. In her free time, Sierra enjoys reading, video games, and spending time with her husband and cats. She is always looking for book and video game recommendations.
