Financial Aid Officer
Marisa Tucker holds a BS in entomology and MA in Higher Education and Student Affairs, and has spent the majority of her higher education career working in financial aid. She previously spent two years serving as an AmeriCorps member, and that’s where she found her passion in higher education. Since joining the School of Social Work in 2022, Marisa has continued to focus on financial aid, assisting students with financial aid planning, budgeting, and questions regarding loan repayment and forgiveness. Marisa is a member and co-lead of the SSW Book Club.
Outside of work, Marisa enjoys spending time with her friends and family, crafting, listening to music, and watching documentaries while building LEGO sets.
