Kia Schwert is a double alumna of the University of Michigan. She earned her MSW in 2024, with a focus on Program Evaluation and Applied Research. Schwert is passionate about continuing access to higher education and aims to bring that focus to her work with students. Before joining the advising team, she worked in student affairs on both the Ann Arbor and Dearborn campuses, giving her a holistic understanding of the Michigan student experience. In addition to advising, she assists local organizations with program evaluation and capacity building. When she is not working, Schwert spends her time trying out local coffee shops, exploring vintage markets and traveling.
