Yuliya Shyrokonis is a doctoral candidate in the Joint PhD Program in Social Work and Social Science (clinical psychology). She is interested in predictors, outcomes and treatments of multiple types of interpersonal violence, including domestic, sexual, police and military violence. Shyrokonis' dissertation work focuses on moral injury among military veterans. She is co-advised by Associate Professor Lisa Fedina and Professor Lilia Cortina.
