Rachel Brandon is a doctoral student in the Joint Program with Social Work and Psychology in the Personality and Social Contexts area. Her research centers around the psychosocial impact of serious and life-limiting illness on adolescents and young adults (AYA), with a special focus on care partners. She obtained her MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and spent time at Inova Life with Cancer as an oncology social worker. Brandon draws upon her clinical experience to inform her research.
