She is currently a post-doctoral research fellow with the Poverty Research and Training Center at UM. Her dissertation is titled: Is America Becoming More Equal for Children?: Intertemporal Changes in the Intergenerational Transmission of Economic Status. Her research interests include poverty, welfare policy, intergenerational transmission of socioeconomic status; effects of domestic violence on women's employment and welfare receipt; gender and race issues in the labor market, political economy of welfare reform and other public policy areas; quantitative research methods and program evaluation.
