Vincent Fusaro, doctoral candidate in Social Work and Political Science, studies the role of government institutions and programs in poverty alleviation. In particular, his research examines who benefits from the American welfare state and what processes lead to particular groups being advantaged or disadvantaged. Mr. Fusaro has prior professional experience in program and policy evaluation, needs assessment, project management, and legislative advocacy.
