Min Hee Kim is a doctoral candidate in the Joint Program in Social Work and Sociology. Her research interests lie at the intersection of policy, distribution, and the delivery of long-term services and supports; she aims to improve the health and well-being of aging populations, particularly older adults with disabilities with disadvantaged background. She is deeply committed to informing policy advocacy and practice through her research. Collectively, her research and teaching is motivated by her research experiences on policies that affect a diverse vulnerable population, her practice work as a direct care worker and a care coordinator for older adults with disabilities in Japan and South Korea, and her experience as a policy analyst in international contexts.
