Janelle R. Goodwill MSW'15 is a PhD candidate in the joint program in social work and psychology. Her research explores topics at the intersection of mental health, race, and gender, with a particular focus on depression and suicide in Black men. Janelle currently serves as a project manager for the Young Black Men, Masculinities, and Mental Health (YBMen) Project— a Facebook-based intervention designed to address the unique mental health and social support needs of Black college men. Her work has been supported by Active Minds and the Ford Foundation.
