Huei-Wern is a doctoral student in the Joint Program in Social Work and Political Science at the University of Michigan. She has worked with different welfare projects in Gothenburg, Sweden, and several human-capital-accumulation programs for poor people in St. Louis. She has involved in variety of research projects aiming at welfare policy analysis both prior and during the graduate school, and focused on examining the service delivery systems of welfare policies.
