Beth Feldkamp

Beth earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and is an alumna of the University of Michigan School of Social Work, where she serves as the Assistant Director of Student Services and a LEO Lecturer. A resourceful and organized Licensed Social Worker, she brings extensive experience in student support, administrative leadership, and social work pedagogy. In addition to her roles at Michigan, she teaches at Washtenaw Community College, empowering students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to excel in their careers.

Inspired by her own non-traditional educational journey, she is deeply passionate about removing systemic barriers, advancing educational equity, and expanding access to resources that foster academic and personal achievement. Through holistic mentorship and dedicated support, her goal is to empower the next generation of social workers to reach their full potential.

Outside of her work on campus, you can usually spot her proudly sporting Maize and Blue, buried in a good book, enjoying live music at a concert, or spending quality time with her family.
