Wayne V. Pawlowski is an independent consultant, trainer and clinical social worker based in the Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Washington, DC areas. Previously, he was Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s first and only Director of Training. Prior to joining PPFA he served as the Director of Training for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington D.C. for ten years. Wayne is a nationally and internationally recognized sexuality/reproductive health/family planning trainer and educator, having provided training in 49 of the 50 United States as well as in 14 nations. He has worked for 30 years in sexuality education, reproductive heath and family planning. Wayne’s work over the years has been recognized with such awards as the First annual “Educators Award” from the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association (1995), and the Planned Parenthood “Mary Lee Tatum Award” (2004) and “Golden APPLE Award” (1993). He is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (L.I.C.S.W) in the District of Columbia, and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers (A.C.S.W.). He is also an AASECT (American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists) Certified Sexuality Educator.
