Vani Patterson is a public health professional with a passion for ensuring that all individuals have the opportunity to live a healthy and happy life. She received her MPH from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in 2011 after studying Environmental Health Sciences and Human Nutrition. Ms. Patterson began her career in Washington, DC, working with the USDA Food and Nutrition Service and on Capitol Hill, with the hope of driving policy-level changes to support public health. She then returned to Michigan to dive into the community, working with families to empower them to achieve their goals related to health and wellness. Currently, Ms. Patterson is the Program Coordinator at the University of Michigan Health System’s Adolescent Health Initiative, where she develops, implements, and evaluates interventions to optimize the healthcare landscape for adolescents, and thus ensure a healthy and productive future generation of leaders.
