Valerie Wood

Valerie Wood is a Clinical Social Worker with a private practice based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She has worked as an individual and couples psychotherapist for 19 years. Valerie specializes in sexual health, grief and loss, postpartum depression, and reproductive health and infertility. Valerie is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan and holds her ACSW certification through the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She is an AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) Certified Sex Therapist. Valerie is currently the Co-Director for the U-M Sexual Health Certificate Program and assists with running the annual SAR in the Sexual Health Certificate Program.
