Stephanie Koenig, LMSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who completed her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Michigan and her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies at Hope College. She began at Michigan Medicine as an intern on the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Unit and returned shortly after graduation as a social worker on the unit before joining the Comprehensive Eating Disorders Program team. Stephanie’s clinical focus is the treatment of various psychiatric conditions, specifically in children and adolescents. She is experienced in conducting family, individual, and group therapy, using numerous evidenced-based treatment modalities, and has worked in partial, inpatient, and emergency room hospital settings. Stephanie strongly believes that full recovery from an eating disorder is possible and enjoys working with patients and families during their recovery process.
