Dr. Manju T. Beier is Senior Partner with Geriatric Consultant Resources LLC. She also holds an academic appointment as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Dr. Beier has given numerous seminars and workshops addressing geriatric pharmacotherapy, particularly psychopharmacology, pain management, incontinence, Alzheimer’s Disease, and the unique medication- related problems of older adults on a local, state, national, and international level. Her recent seminars have focused on medication adherence and reconciliation across transitions of care and the science of pharmacogenomics.

In 2009, Dr. Beier obtained her board certification in geriatrics and is currently a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (CGP).

Dr. Beier has recently been invited to serve on the national Epocrates Senior Clinical Board as the only pharmacist with expertise in geriatrics (2011-2013).

Dr. Beier has served as an expert panel member for the 2003 Beers Criteria for Potentially Inappropriate Drugs in the Elderly.

Dr. Beier has several publications to her credit. She currently serves on the editorial advisory board of several journals related to geriatrics and aging including Journal of the American Medical Directors Association (JAMDA), and The Consultant Pharmacist.
