Laura Ramos Tomás (she/ella/ela) is a sexuality educator and public health practitioner who creates participatory learning and research experiences centered on dignity, pleasure, and justice. As founder of TabuTabu, she has designed and facilitated sexuality education programs across Latin America, from favelas in Rio de Janeiro to communities in rural Honduras, reaching over 600 learners through community-led, culturally responsive programming. She has secured funding from institutions including the Packard Foundation and DKT International, managing projects from design through implementation and learning. She has consulted for The Pleasure Project, Planned Parenthood, IPPF, Plan International, UNFPA, and other regional and global organizations, training educators and developing tools and curricula that translate nuanced concepts into context-adapted programming.

Laura's approach to sexuality education is rooted in her background in product design, applying design thinking methodologies to co-create programs with communities. She is an AASECT-certified sexuality educator currently pursuing a Master of Science in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
