Kristine has a lifetime of equine experience being born into a horse centric family. Her professional background prior to Horses’ Haven includes sales, corporate management and customer service. At Horses’ Haven, she saw the need to provide more than sanctuary, initiated the development of the current training and adoption programs transitioning the organization from a sanctuary to a busy adoption focused agency. Kristine has developed and facilitates an annual Law Enforcement Clinic for the state of Michigan, has developed an ongoing, working relationship with Michigan State University to provide structured, hands-on experience for students in the MSU Veterinary Program. She is a National Responder for the ASPCA. In 2018, she received her certification in equine nutrition and is passionate about equine welfare, health, nutrition, training and adoption.
In her personal time, Kristine enjoys spending time with her four children, her golden retriever, kayaking, hiking, traveling, friends and all things outdoors.
