Chidimma Ozor Commer, LMSW, MSW, MA is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist at her private practice, conscious + aligned therapy. She also is the principal and founder of Chidimma Ozor Consulting, a firm specializing in diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and anti-racism and anti-oppression. As a researcher and educator, her research focuses on social responsibility organizations (SROs), decision making, collective knowledge and wisdom, the impact of transracial adoption, and the relationship between social workers who are activists and/or advocates and self-care. She earned her MSW at the University of Michigan School of Social Work in July 2020. She previously earned her MA in Liberal Studies and BA in Organizational Studies at the University of Michigan. When she's not working, she enjoys eating red velvet cupcakes or cake, french fries, riding her Peloton, traveling, reading, listening to audiobooks, balancing out documentaries and podcasts with reality tv, and spending time with loved ones.
