This course is taught by various faculty. Each version of the course has its own subtitle, some being offered one time only while others are repeated. Topic Description: This course will feature asynchronous learning (w/ recorded lectures) about concepts and terms related to environmental justice. As well as an immersive two-day session in Detroit on May 16 and 17 learning from your peers in the class and Detroit area Environmental Justice organizers, researchers, and organizations.

The undergraduate (SW 300) and the graduate sections of this course (SW 757) will come together for the two-day session in Detroit. Transportation from Ann Arbor to the Detroit intensive weekend and workshops will be provided. You may also coordinate meeting the class in Detroit.
