The advanced standing program allows students to complete their MSW degree in 45 credit hours.
Qualifications for Advanced Standing Status
- Attained an undergraduate degree with a major in social work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), the Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE) or from a program that was in candidacy status for this accreditation at the time the degree was awarded.
- Maintained a GPA of 3.5 or above in the equivalent of the final two years of undergraduate study as calculated by the School's Office of Student Services and Enrollment Management.
- Completed undergraduate degree within ten years of the expected completion of the MSW degree.
