Brad Zebrack Receives 2026 Ellen L. Stovall Award

Professor Brad Zebrack has received the 2026 Ellen L. Stovall Award for Innovation in Patient-Centered Cancer Care. Zebrack will be honored in November at the Cancer Nation Gala in Washington, D.C.

“Since my own cancer diagnosis in 1985 at the age of 25, I’ve sought to use my skills to help people affected by cancer,” said Zebrach. “Cancer Nation, formerly the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, was one of the first organizations I’d ever heard of that acknowledged the importance and value of the patient voice and experience in advocating for health policy and systems change. To now be awarded by the same organization that 40 years ago shaped my career is an honor and affirmation.”
