Associate Professor Camille Quinn has received the 2026 CORSW Feminist Scholarship Award from CSWE’s Council on the Role and Status of Women in Social Work Education. This annual award honors a scholar who advances feminist knowledge, including Womanist and Xicanism perspectives. The award will be presented at CSWE’s 2026 Annual Conference in October in Atlanta.
“I am deeply honored to receive the CSWE Council on the Role and Status of Women in Social Work Feminist Scholar Award. This recognition is especially meaningful because my scholarship grows directly from more than 20 years of practice experience with Black girls and young women and reflects my longstanding commitment to centering their voices, experiences, and strengths in work that advances healing, justice, and systemic change. Having received CSWE’s 2018 Recognized Mentor Award, I am also grateful to have my contributions to feminist social work recognized across both mentorship and scholarship.”
