Lecturer Rick Barinbaum will serve as interim director of the Jewish Community Leadership Program (JCLP) while Professor Karla Goldman is on scholarly leave. Barinbaum's experience is in trauma-informed, compassion-centered practice, prioritizing relationship-centered engagement across training, facilitation and consultation. In his interim role, he will guide JCLP students through a year of study, professional growth, community engagement, and reflection on the responsibilities and possibilities of Jewish communal leadership.
