The School welcomes Presidential Postdoctoral Fellow Eliza Silvia Galvez. As a scholar, her research focuses on implementation science, cultural adaptation/tailoring, family-based programming and community-based approaches to prevention for behavioral health outcomes among Latine youth. As a Licensed Master Social Worker, Galvez has predominantly served the Latine and immigrant communities through clinical services and community outreach. During her PhD training, Galvez was a doctoral fellow recipient of the Council of Social Work Education Minority Fellowship Program and remains committed to advancing equity in behavioral health by bridging research and practice through community-engaged scholarship.
