Brian Perron Gives Keynote at the Asian & Pacific Islander Social Work Educators Association International Conference

Professor Brian Perron gave the keynote presentation at the Asian & Pacific Islander Social Work Educators Association (APISWEA) international conference, entitled “The Future of Social Work is Agentic: How AI is Reshaping Roles Across Research and Practice” in Macau, China, last month. Perron also presented at the AI-Empowered Disciplinary Development Symposium at Nankai University, and gave workshops and lectures on developing and evaluating AI agents at Nankai University, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Macau City University.
