Lecturer Lexx Brown-James was a guest on a recent conversation on NPR’s 1A on sex and intimacy in middle age. The wide-ranging conversation discussed how physical changes — as well as emotional, psychological and social issues, including trauma and shame — can affect sex lives. The discussion also covered neurodiversity, gender roles, differing sexual drives and polyamory. Brown-James gave a shout-out to Associate Professor Shanna Kattari for their research on the intersection of sex and disability.
