Assistant Professor Nari Yoo has received the 2026 Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) Outstanding Social Work Doctoral Dissertation Award for her dissertation, “Unraveling Ethnic Disparities: Spatial and Virtual Access to Mental Health Services among Immigrants with Language Barriers.” In conferring the award, the Society recognizes the significance of the problem addressed, the rigor of her analysis, and the meaningful contribution her work makes to social work and social welfare knowledge. Yoo received this award at the SSWR Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.
