Associate Professor Shanna Kattari has been named a recipient of the 2026 Sarah Goddard Power Award from U-M’s CEW+. The award honors Sarah Goddard Power, a Regent of the University of Michigan for more than 12 years, who worked tirelessly to advance the position of women and minorities in faculty and administrative roles. The award recognizes a demonstrated, sustained effort across an academic or administrative career that has resulted in greater equity regarding gender, race, class, age, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation at U-M or beyond.
