Brad Zebrack Receives $1.6 Million Grant from the National Cancer Institute

Professor Brad Zebrack has received a new five-year, $1.6 million grant from the National Cancer Institute to support a new education initiative. The project will provide advanced training and mentorship to oncology social workers across the United States, helping them lead palliative care education, implement quality improvement initiatives and integrate health equity into cancer care.

“I am honored to contribute to this effort to strengthen the national oncology workforce,” said Zebrack. “This program supports the leadership development of oncology social workers who play a critical role in delivering compassionate, evidence-informed care to individuals and families affected by cancer.”
