“I am truly grateful to be joining the University of Michigan School of Social Work as an assistant professor and M-PACT Scholar. I'm excited by the opportunity to build partnerships with Tribes and urban Native communities here in my homelands, and to continue my commitment to food sovereignty that is deeply rooted in my family’s history of fishing, hunting, and connection to land and water. I am also looking forward to learning from and working alongside such talented and grounded faculty, and to connecting with students whose energy and commitment to equity inspire me already.”
