Professor Linda Chatters has received this year’s James S. Jackson Outstanding Mentoring Award from the Gerontological Society of America. This award recognizes outstanding commitment and dedication to mentoring minority researchers in the field of aging. “I'm very honored to receive this award because I was a student of James and greatly benefited from his mentorship,” said Chatters. She will be recognized for this distinction in November at the GSA conference in Boston.
