  1. Evaluation Lunch 'n Learn Series: Developing and Testing Measurement Scales

    March 25, 2014 - 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM ET

Developing and Testing Measurement Scales, A Case Study: The LGBTQ Microagressions on Campus Scale

Among other factors, measurement research requires the use of valid and reliable measures. Many times, however, such measures are lacking and researchers create much-needed scales.  How does one ensure a scale is valid and reliable? Using his LGBTQ Microagressions on Campus Scale as an example, Dr. Michael Woodford will lead a discussion on how to develop and test a psychometricly sound scale useful for social work research, evaluation, and practice.

Feel free to bring your own lunch.
