  2. Global Lens Photo Exhibition 2015 Submission Deadline Global Lens Photo Exhibition 2015 Submission Deadline

    November 10, 2015 - 11:45 PM ET

The Office of Global Activities is holding a reflective photo exhibition as a part of Global Social Work Week (November 16-20, 2015). Share your experience living and working in another country through photos and stories. This is a way for students, staff or faculty to express, compare, and contrast their experience in a new place, and to raise awareness for international students and education abroad opportunities on campus. The exhibition will be on display in the SSWB across from the Office of Student Services from November 16-30, 2015. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, November 10.  Fill out and submit The Global Lens Photo Submission Application and Guidelines.

The Reflective Photo Gallery is a project for all students, alumni, faculty and staff in the School of Social Work to reflect on their identity as a visitor through photography and narratives of when they were abroad.  Domestic and international students are encouraged to participate in the process of reflecting and sharing their experience in cross-national and cross-cultural settings.  Participants are encouraged to submit photos of their time abroad using the lens of a camera to capture and reflect on issues of Privilege, Oppression, Diversity, and Social Justice. See past submissions here.
