The ENGAGE team implements a range of innovative projects funded by outside sources. These projects are typically requested by the communities we work with and address a pressing social issue. All of our activities align with the SSW mission to support socially and economically just communities and contribute to the common good.
EELAC
The University of Michigan School of Social Work ENGAGE team works in partnership with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to facilitate Detroit’s Employment Equity Learning and Action Collaborative (EELAC). Founded in 2019, EELAC is the only collective impact roundtable in the Detroit region dedicated to promoting employment equity and economic opportunity for Detroit workers.
