Program Evaluation Group Partnering with you to Measure What Matters

Program Evaluation Group

Overview

The Program Evaluation Group (PEG) was established at the University of Michigan School of Social Work in 2011 as part of the school’s ongoing commitment to community engaged service.

PEG partners with public and private organizations to provide evaluation, data management, and data analysis services. We have expertise in qualitative and quantitative data collection design and measurement, analysis, and reporting. We produce customized dissemination materials including formal reports, slide presentations, digital content, data visualizations, and briefs for a wide variety of audiences, with a focus on the community.

Values Forward Approach

Our approach is informed by our social work values and aligns with the guiding principles of Utilization-focused Evaluation and Culturally Responsive Evaluation.

  • We believe that evaluation must be situated in a root cause context to impact the structures underlying organizations, systems, and communities.
  • We are committed to evaluation approaches that further social betterment and meaningfully engage stakeholders.
  • We engage with our partners throughout the evaluation process to ensure that evaluation design and implementation are driven by your needs, and build on your organization's capacity.
