Alumni Lunch Session: Social Policy & Evaluation Panel

This lunch panel will focus on highlighting specific skills, adapting your resume, suggestions on how to search and get job listings, marking trends for this sector and information about data visualization. 

On the panel:

Sue Ann Savas: Clinical Assistant Professor of Social Work. Sue Ann received her MSW and BA in economics from the University of Michigan. For the past 20 years, Sue Ann practiced as a program evaluator. She specializes in the areas of program design, logic modeling, evaluation planning, implementation evaluations, outcome measurement, and reporting for continuous quality improvement. She uses an interdisciplinary approach, collaborating with providers from the fields of social work, public health, environmental health, and education.

Sarah Beu: Evaluation Specialist. Sarah, MSW, leads several evaluation projects and coordinates professional and student trainings on evaluation skills. She gained evaluation experience at the U-M School of Social Curtis Center Program Evaluation Group. She also provided technical and evaluation consulting services to national grantees through the National Council for Behavioral Health, an organization based out of Washington D.C. Sarah's interest lie in participatory evaluation designs, data visualization best practices, and quantitative data analysis.
