  1. CCS Fundraising Virtual Information Session

    December 1, 2016 - 12:00pm to 1:00pm

    In this virtual session, the Career Services Office will host CCS Assistant Vice President, Douglas Adolph as he provides an overview of the firm and discuss full-time opportunities that may be a great fit for University of Michigan School of Social Work School students. The session will be held on Thursday December 1st from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM in room 2733 in the School of Social Work. Lunch will be provided.

    Full-time Career and Fellowship Opportunities

    The full-time roles we are currently looking to fill are our Associate Director positions.  At CCS, we empower some of the greatest organizations in the world to effect meaningful change—change that impacts lives and improves the condition of the world we live in. As a culture, we are united in this genuine purpose. Our team of Directors are critical in advancing these efforts, serving in many ways as full-time, on-site project managers. Directors work collaboratively with CCS executives and client leaders to identify, design, and implement management and development methodologies to prepare for and conduct successful fundraising initiatives. During a campaign, this involves everything from developing overarching campaign strategies to tracking activity and progress toward benchmarks, conducting prospect research, creating individual donor approach strategies, writing all marketing and operational materials, training and managing volunteers, and coordinating events. Directors are often asked to wear multiple hats and must be able to adapt to the unique needs of each client. CCS invests in the training, tools, and support necessary for employees’ lasting personal and professional growth.

  2. Job Search Strategies: Including Interviewing, Salary Negotiating & Licensure

    December 2, 2016 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm

    Want more informaiton on different strategies and knowledge concerning the job searching process for Social Work Professionals?

    Bring your lunch and Michelle Woods, Director of Career Services, will lead this workshop covering job searching strategies that will include discussing/answering questions on interviewing, salary negotiating and licensure.

  3. Lippert Components Job Informational Session

    December 8, 2016 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm

    The Career Services Office and the Leadership in Community Benefit Organization program welcomes Keith Head, U-M SSW alum and Manager at Lippert Components, a manufacturer company located in Indiana, to share with current Social Work students job opportunities for those interested in Human Resources. This informational session may interest students in the Management of Human Services practice method concentration, but all interested students are welcome to attend. This session will be held Thursday December 8th, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM in room 2733 in the School of Social Work. Lunch will be provided.
